The 19 March 2014 Poul F. Kjaer gave a public lecture on corporatism and societal crises from the interwar period to the financial crises at the Center for German and European Studies, University of Haifa. In his lecture Poul F. Kjaer emphasized the link between the emergence of corporatism and the absence of modern types of statehood in various European settings and the breakdown of the public/private distinction through corporatist measures as a central cause of societal crises. In addition to the lecture faculty seminars were given at the Faculty of Law in Haifa.
On the 12th October 2017 Dzmitry Bartalevich successfully defended his PhD dissertation entitled “Do Economic Theories Inform Policy? Analysis of the Chicago School on European Union Competition Policy”.
